Modern garden with Mediterranean touches

Location: Raba Wyżna municipality, Podhale

A large garden on mountain terrain, designed in a modern style with Mediterranean touches. The layout is built from flowing lines and circles, around which the seating areas are arranged. Each one is positioned to look out at the mountains, and the whole garden matches the style of the house. Above all, the garden is meant for the owners to rest and enjoy the outdoors.

Terrace with a water wall. A timber deck with loungers is the place for sunbathing to the sound of water running down the water wall.

Birch grove. A small grove of birches with hammocks gives shade on sunny days. The birches grow in a round bed edged with clipped shrub spheres.

Pavilion with a fireplace. The spacious pavilion holds a large group of guests. It has a stone fireplace with a grill, and shutters and curtains allow it to be closed.

Fire pit. A stone fire pit on a round terrace, sheltered by columnar conifers and a Mediterranean-style bed.

Outdoor cinema. A garden lounge surrounded by planting, with a screen and loungers for watching films and matches in the evening.

Entrance and utility area. At the entrance, guests are greeted by a feature bed with a stone water element, lit up in the evening. The garden also has a football pitch, a small vineyard and a shelter for an off-road vehicle.

Planting. The Mediterranean character comes from gravel beds, stone, columnar conifers and ornamental grasses, complemented by flowering perennials.
